ANALISIS PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU PEMBUATAN SEPATU DENGAN TEKNIK LOT SIZING DI LIBERTY SHOES
Abstract
Planning the amount of raw material inventory is very important in supporting the production process. The production process will run well if the supply of raw materials is balanced with the raw material inventory capacity and balanced with the company's production capacity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the lot sizing technique that can be used by companies to determine the number of raw material orders and the minimum costs incurred in order to increase company profits later. As the object of research is Liberty Shoes which is a company engaged in the production of leather shoes. This research uses four types of lot sizing techniques, namely lot for lot (LFL), economic order quantity (EOQ), period order quantity (POQ) and least unit cost (LUC). From the results of the analysis, the total inventory costs for each lot sizing technique were obtained, namely LFL of Rp. 178,650,000, EOQ of Rp.248,700,000, POQ of Rp.262,990,000 and LUC of Rp.285,450,000. From the results of the lowest cost generated by lot for lot (LFL) technique can be applied to companies with the number of lot orders for each shoe that is 80 times loafers, boots 97 times and slip on 91 times.
