ANALISIS OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENESS (OEE) LINI PRODUKSI PABRIK PT LEMBAH KARET PADANG

Abstract

TPM is a continuous improvement process that is structured and oriented towards factory equipment. The application of TPM is measured by Overall Equipment Effectiveness to evaluate the effectiveness of the equipment. Preliminary research at PT Lembah Karet is seen as the low effectiveness of the use of machinery due to damage and high idle time and the total production is not fixed. The purpose of this study is to calculate the value of OEE on the production line that is problematic, find the cause of the low value of OEE and provide suggestions for improving the problem. Analysis of the causes of low performance that makes the low value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness is then analyzed by the fault tree analysis method. The results showed that the cause of the low performance value was due to the length of idle time caused by PLN disruption, empty raw materials, and orders that fluctuated each month. From the results of data processing, the average OEE value is 64.93%, this is below the world standard with a minimum of 85%. The low value of OEE in the PT Lembah rubber dry processing production line is due to the relatively low performance value.
