Abstract

The biggest supply of drinking water in the community is the Drinking Water Refill Depot. To qualify drinking water quality, the depot treats raw water with ultraviolet rays, ozone and reverse osmosis . But the quality is not guaranteed, based on the data, the quality of drinking water from the depot is still contaminated with microorganisms. So that the water treatment using plasma system is one way to produce water that is consumed by society in terms of health aspects because in the process the tool does not come into contact with the material directly so that the possibility of contamination is small. Indonesian has a large amount of rainfall and has the opportunity to be used as clean water and drinking water. A Radio Frequensi Plasma system radiation can produse active compounds (H⁺,OH^-,H₂O₂ ,O₃etc) from water,the active compounds  have a high oxidation potential and can kill microorganisms present in water (fecal coliform,total coliform and salmonella).
