Bark waste consists of several components that have benefits in each component.Where one of the components of the bark contains lignin which is a source of energy
that can be reused. This study aims to analyze the economic techno from bark waste
of the paper industry consisting of types of pine bark waste, Spruce, Eucalyptus,
acacia and birch where the added value of bark converted into bioethanol is far more
economical compared to the use of bark waste for boiler fue .
While the highest bioethanol energy production is found in acacia bark,
which is 0.6513 kwh / L, the lowest is in birch bark. Even though the production
of bioethanol energy is the smallest birch bark, the combustion energy in the birch
bark is the highest, which is 0.0058 kwh / gram and the smallest combustion
