Abstract

Water imbalance in the PEMFC channel affects cell performance. high water content causes the PEMFC stack to flood. if it is too dry it will cause cells to burst. This results in poor performance of the PEMFC system. The results showed that at a flow rate of 7 x 10-8 kg / s the cells experienced dryness and at a flow rate of 9 x 10-8 kg / s, the cells were dry on the inside only. In this condition the performance of PEMFC has decreased because most of the variations in flow rate cause cells to dry out.
