Abstract

UMKM pounding rice coffee is a company engaged in the production of pounding coffee beans. One of the factors that determines the smooth production process in a company is the raw material. It is not only influenced by the availability of raw materials but also the quality of existing raw materials. The accuracy of the purchasing department when choosing a supplier that supplies all the raw material needs is the most determining factor. Many companies prefer to stop price and quality as the main criteria for selecting suppliers. Errors in the criteria used result in a less smooth production process. This research is about determining the criteria that will be used to select suppliers so that the smooth production process can be guaranteed but still consider other factors. The first step in this research is to determine the criteria in selecting suppliers based on Chopra and Meindl (2004) and add the results of the discussion of the MSME purchasing section of the pounding of rice coffee beans using the Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, so we can determine the weight of each criterion based on this weight. Evaluation and supplier selection were carried out based on Lambert, 1998. The results of the study were the quality of the criteria for delivery accuracy was 0.33, then successively the quality was 0.29, the price was 0.15, the ability to fulfill orders was 0.17, and the supplier's response was 0.17 and the supplier that had the highest performance value is CV. Jangkat Makmur with a value of 2,711, followed by CV. Aji Suar with a performance value of 1,811 and CV. Sinar Bangko with a performance value of 1.483.
