PT. Ajees Emhade Jaya is a distributor company engaged in the distribution of gas fuel or LPG. The LPG product that the company sells is in the form of LPG with a cylinder size of 3 kg. This company has a diverse consumer group ranging from household consumers, retail, industrial, business, to livestock with coverage areas spread across the Padang Pariaman Regency covering twenty regions. The distribution made by this company is based on requests from distributors. Therefore, there is an increase for the next year by 5% to 10% from the current demand data because the demand data for each base is different. Meanwhile, the results of the calculation of distribution costs obtained by the FOQ technique are Rp. 367,455,980 and EOQ technique of Rp. 382,944,224 of the two techniques that have the smallest cost is the FOQ technique. For the comparison of the frequency of deliveries using the FOQ and EOQ techniques, the FOQ technique has 425 deliveries, while for the EOQ technique there are 458 deliveries. With the results of these two techniques, the lowest cost is obtained using the FOQ technique. Then the company can save Rp. 15,488,244.References
