This UKM da AT was founded in 2008 which is located at Ampang, Kuranji, Padang City, fried onions are one of the foods that are in great demand by consumers, fried onions are generally used as a mixture of food and snacks. Fried onions are food that is much needed by the community and culinary traders such as satay, soup, and so on. Increased demand for fried onions with a production target of 1 ton 1 day but only able to produce 500 kg because the onion slicing process still uses old tools, an onion slicer is designed using the Desigh Thinking method to increase production capacity in fried onion household businesses. Da AT, the design of the tool is made using iron and the plate used is made of stainless steel with the effort that during the cutting process the materials used in the tool do not rust easily and do not affect the results or the quality of the products produced. The work process is carried out with 1 loading process of 20 kg and the slicing process is carried out automatically, carried out by 1 operator.References
