ANALISIS PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU PLAT BESI PADA PRODUK HYDROTILLER DI CV. CITRA DRAGON PARIAMAN
Abstract
CV. Citra Dragon is a manufacturing industry company engaged in the production of ALSINTAN (agricultural tools and machinery), one of which is Hydrotiller Products. Based on preliminary observation reports, the raw material which is one of the important factors in the production process of agricultural machinery is the main raw material, namely Iron Plate. According to interviews conducted with the company, it is known that in the implementation of the production system at the company there are problems regarding the inventory of raw materials with an unstructured inventory control system, where in every purchase of raw materials the company buys based on the estimated remaining raw materials available in the warehouse, so that The amount of raw material purchases per period is not fixed, other problems sometimes occur delays in the delivery of raw materials in the case of an expedition that causes goods that should have been there in one day back to two or three days, besides that the number of orders for raw materials sometimes does not match the company's request due to the availability of raw materials owned by suppliers. With such conditions, it causes if there is more demand than usual, the company cannot fulfill the request. Therefore, with the concept of the Forecasting Method and EOQ Method that is carried out to anticipate an increase in orders from consumers, so that production runs smoothly and consumer demand can be fulfilled. By applying the forecasting method, the company can predict future conditions through testing the situation in the past, which includes the information the company needs in ordering materials according to their needs. Meanwhile, the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) technique in a company can provide an accurate order quantity so there is no stock vacancy. From the results of the calculations made, it was found that an average purchase of 81 sheets with 13 safety stock sheets and 13 reorder points with a purchase frequency of 3 times and a total inventory cost of Rp. 186,550.00. Meanwhile, for the company, the total cost of supplies that must be issued is Rp. 355,500.00 with a purchase frequency of 12 times and an average purchase of 23 pieces.References
