IMPLEMENTASI HAZARD AND OPERABILITY (HAZOP) DI PROSES PENGGILINGAN PADA PT FAMILI RAYA CRF

Abstract

PT FAMILI RAYA is a company engaged in the production of making Crumb Rubber. There are several potential dangers that exist in PT FAMILI RAYA and the production process still involves several manual processes and has not implemented K3 properly. This results in the emergence of several potential work accidents and the health of workers to experience problems. Hazard and Operability is a standard hazard analysis technique used in the preparation of determining safety in a new or modified system for a potential hazard or its operability. In hazard identification, a hazard with an extreme risk level was found at the mangel station. Countermeasures from the level of hazard risk by using risk countermeasures with controls or engineering techniques including changing the structure of the work object to prevent someone from being exposed to potential problems can be implemented. And secondly, risk control with administrative control by providing a work system that can reduce the possibility of a person being exposed to potential hazards. This control method is highly dependent on the behavior of the workforce and requires regular supervision to comply with these administrative controls.
