PERANCANGAN ALAT PENGURAI AIR MENJADI GAS HIDROGEN UNTUK EFISIENSI BAHAN BAKAR PADA SEPEDA MOTOR 4 TAK (Experimen Pada Mesin Type FD 125 XSD)
Abstract
Along with the rapid pace of technological development in the transport industry thus making the need for fuel increased dramatically to make fuel reserves contained in the earth dwindling. To reduce fuel consumption and reduce adverse effects on the environment resulting from the use of gasoline in motor vehicles 4 stroke then one way is to design a tool decomposing water into hydrogen gas for fuel efficiency on a motorcycle 4 stroke. From the test results to the machineĀ type FD 125 XSD obtained the highest fuel economy of 12.5% and the lowest was 3.97%. These savings also affected the weight that is given at the time of testing. Of the design tool decomposing water into hydrogen gas for fuel efficiency in the 4-stroke motorcycle is expected to reduce fuel consumption and reduce environmental pollution.
