Abstract

Development of the Indonesian economy grew rapidly, this causes the change and progress in society feels. Not only to meet the daily needs of the community just as the primary need, but the need for luxury items also improved. Such as cars, appliances and other electronics. The products offered by various manufacturers with the advantages of each. Many brands and types of products cause consumers must be smart in choosing the products they want. Consumers are often faced with a problem that requires them to choose the most optimal decision among many alternatives. This study aims to determine the weight of evaluation criteria in the selection of consumer minibus and car type to car type minibus determination in accordance with the criteria of most consumers. Researchers used a questionnaire as a medium to capture consumers' perception of the minibus type criteria. The research was conducted in the city of Padang with the number of respondents 25 respondents. The criteria used are the facilities, price, design, and service, while alternatives are being evaluated type Avanza minibus, Ertiga, and Xenia. Method Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used as a tool to see the minibus type chosen by consumers. The result showed that the type of minibus that is selected according to consumer perceptions and criteria Avanza minibus type selected from the minibus type is the price.
