Abstract

Biogas Production from Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) was investigated by Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) plasma system with applied voltage at 15-25 kV. The results indicated that Total Suspended Solid (TSS) removal decreased with increasing the applied voltage. In this study, biogas productions such as hydrogen , carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and methane were also studied. The maximum production of hydrogen , carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and methane are 6.511 mg/l, 514 mg/l, 56,95 mg/l and 400 mg/l,respectively.
