UJI EKSPERIMENTAL GAYA TEKAN WAFER PAKAN TERNAK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PRESS PANAS

Abstract

Feed wafers made using a press machine with the help of heat and pressure. Before the wafer
is made, wafer materials should be dried in the sun 2-3 days. After drying such materials in
small pieces with a size of 2-3 cm, then the material is finely inscribed. Further material was
mixed with a liquid concentrate called molasses. Molasses type of syrup that is the rest of the
sugar crystallization process. Suppression test is done by using different variations of the
compressive force of 60 N, 80 N, and 100 N and also performed with emphasis on the time
variation of 10 minutes, 15 minutes and 20 minutes and is also heated with a temperature of
37-120 °C. of several tests performed data obtained can be concluded that the creation of a
wafer with dimensions 20 x 20 x 1.5 cm it takes 20 minutes by using a compression force of
100 N and a temperature between 37-120 °C.
