PENGARUH VARIASI TEMPERATUR PEMANASAN DAN PERLAKUAN TEMPERING TERHADAP KEKUATAN TARIK BAJA AISI 1045

Abstract

AISI 1045 steel is a commonly used material in the machinery and construction industry, known for its resistance to wear, acid, and corrosion, as well as toughness. Motorcycle axles are often affected by external factors in their applications. This study used AISI 1045 steel specimens with heating temperatures of 723 ℃, 800 ℃, and 900 ℃ with a holding time of 60 minutes and continued with tempering at 400 ℃ for 120 minutes. This study aims to determine the tensile strength value of AISI 1045 steel in the application of motorcycle axles.
