Abstract
The development of electric vehicles is an effective solution to reduce dependence on fossil fuels
and minimize environmental pollution. This study aims to design and analyze the structural
strength of an electric scooter frame. The frame material used was mild steel with a total load of
1400 N. The design process was carried out using SolidWorks and analyzed using the finite
element method to determine Von Mises stress, displacement, and safety factor. The simulation
results showed a maximum stress of 5.403 × 10⁷ N/m², maximum displacement of 3.542 mm, and a
minimum safety factor of 2.18. These results indicate that the electric scooter frame is safe for
normal operational use.
