Studi Korosi Temperatur Tinggi Baja ASSAB 760 Dilingkungan Klor dan Sulfur

Abstract

Steel of ASSAB 760 can be used as component materials for the system of hot power station pipe network of earth ( geothermal). In high temperature the air usually content of klor and sulphur it is able to cause corrosion. On that account needed  examination of high temperature corrosion to know the level of rate corossion that happened at Steel of ASSAB 760. Examination conducted with time variation of 3 - 6 hour where at surface of Steel of ASSAB 760 in arranging in layers by mixture of NaCl/ Na2SO4 comparison 50 / 50 by sprayed flattened. Result of which is obtained when 3 hour 3,5 x 10-4 mm / year, 4 hour 2,2 x 10-4 mm / year, 5 hour 2,5 x 10-4 mm / year, 6 hour 3,1 x 10-4 mm / year. Its conclusion is longer examination time hence fast ever greater of oxidation that happened and coat of NaCl/ Na2SO4 very having an effect on to oxidation rate.
