ABSTRACT

 

The process of bending is one type of metal forming processes are widely applied in manufacturing. The process of bending is particularly prevalent in the metal material that is widely used in daily life. More expect precision bending process in order to get a shape corresponding to the desired. In the process of bending will be a force behind the phenomenon called springback phenomenon. Aluminum plate is one of the widely used materials of everyday life.

Springback is the force behind the effect caused by the elasticity of the plate material is process of formation. The force behind this price is determined by the modulus of elasticity of the material. In this bending process springbok must to be consider.

Type of research conducted is descriptive, a study aimed to describe a situation or phenomenon is. Research is carried on an existing phenomenon in order to draw conclusions from the existing phenomena.
