Abstract
ASSAB760steelcan beused as acomponent ofpipes, boilers, steam boilers andpipingnetworksystemgeothermal power(geothermal).In general,theindustrialneighborhoodon the edge ofthe curved, so it hasa veryhighchloride content.Thechloridesalt depositswillaccelerate thecorrosion processof steelandpaduaanyaexposed tohightemperatureenvironments.In thegeothermalpower plants, the presence ofchlorine gascontained in thebowels of the earth, forjettingthe steamwill come out withthe watervaporinto thesteamreservoirbefore itis forwardedto thegenerating system.Changes inpressure and temperaturethat occursduringthe drainageof moisture from theinside/outof the earth, causingchlorinegascan bedeposited onthe walls ofthe pipedue tomutual reactionof oxygen orwater vapor.Therefore,forthe utilization ofgeothermal steam, the presence ofchlorinegasshould beof particular concernto thecorrosion resistanceof steelpipeused.Chlorine gasthat settlesin the form ofNaCldepositonsteel surfacesandpaduaanya, can causesevere damage.Chloridesalt depositsaccelerate the process ofoxidation/corrosionof steelandpaduaanyaduringexposure tohigh temperatures.Testing is donewith thevariation of time4s/d7hat which760ASSABsteel surfacecoatedbya mixture ofNaClratio of40/40by sprayingevenlyandheatedtoa temperature of 2000C.The results obtainedina time of 4hours483x10-3mm/ year, 5hours481x10-3mm/ year, 6hours of664x10-3mm/ year, 7hours487x10-3mm/ year.The existence ofthe depositNaClat760ASSABsteelcoatinggreatlyaffectsthe rate ofoxidation ofthe steel, itcan beseen from thegraphsand calculations.
