Studi Korosi Temperatur Tinggi Baja ASSAB 760 Dilingkungan Udara Yang Mengandung Sulfur
Abstract
Steel of ASSAB 760 can be used as component materials for the system of hot power station pipe network of earth ( geothermal). In high temperature the air usually sulphur it is able to cause corrosion. On that account needed examination of high temperature corrosion to know the level of rate corossion that happened at Steel of ASSAB 760. Examination conducted with time variation of 3 - 6 hour where at surface of Steel of ASSAB 760 in arranging in layers by mixture of Na2SO4 comparison 40 by sprayed flattened. Result of which is obtained when 3 hour 0,001043 mm / year, 5 hour 0,000694 mm / year, 6 hour 0,001058 mm / year. Its conclusion is longer examination time hence fast ever greater of oxidation that happened and coat of Na2SO4 very having an effect on to oxidation rate.
