Abstrak

 

The aim of this research is to study the use of briquette charcoal durian with utilizing the mixing of biomassa wastes charcoal kernel palm shell and rubber in other to overcome the scarcity of kerosene. Treatments used were composition of raw materials were mixture (charcoal durian, kernel shell and rubber shell, adhesive from starch and jackfruid seed). The result showed that char-briquette that was made from charcoal durian and charcoal rubber shell with starch adhesive, comparizon comparizon 2:1 is 25,593 g/cm2. Calorific Value generated by 5219 cal/g. This value has reached the standar calorific values based SNI is 5000 cal/g.
