Abstract

Composite materials have been developed in a variety of applications , by utilizing waste ( biowaste ) cow bones were processed into powder hydroxyapatite as a filler composition biocomposites and borosilicate as a matrix , by varying the composition of the filler are 60:40 , 70:30 , 80:20 , performed to obtain value better mechanical properties including hardness and compressive strength .Biocomposite material of hydroxyapatite , borosilicate , Shore hardness values obtained on specimens biocomposite best Scleroscope with variations in the composition of 70:30 with a value of 22 SHN temperature 10000C , and the highest compressive strength value of the specimen with composition variation with indigo 70:30 6.43 N / mm2 at a temperature of 10000C . From the test results above shows variations in the composition of filler is hydroxyapatite and borosilicate matrik greatly affect the hardness and compressive strength
