Abstract

Clay material has been developed in a variety of applications, utilizing clay sourced from zeolite were processed into ceramic techniques and furnace burning rice husk. Tests were conducted in this study is testing press and hardness testing. The size difference Granules greatly affect the hardness , clay with a grain size >1 mm has a lower shore hardness value . While the clay grain size < 1 mm has a high shore hardness results. Clay in rice husk fuel with hardness values lower than the combustion temperature of 9000 C. Based on research that includes testing and analysis of mechanical properties of ceramic zeolite with different grain size > 1 mm and  < 1 mm, then get the highest hardness value on the size grains of < 1 mm temperature of 9000 C with a heating value of 40.44 SHN, and the highest compressive strength value that is on the grain size < 1 mm at a temperature of 9000 C warming by the voltage value of 14.79 N / mm2. Keywords: ceramic, zeolit, hardness, value press.
