ABSTRACT

Radio Frequency (RF) plasma radiation can generate the active compounds such as H⁺, OH^-, H₂O₂, and O₃. Radio frequency (RF) can be used to remove of microorganisms and organic pollutans due to high chemical activity, low temperature and short time treatment. The applied frequency was set at 3.0 MHz and flowrate at 30 mL/minutes to see the effect of diameter plasma reactor at 1, 2 and 3 inch. The results indicated that in all runs the removal efficiency of Fecal Coliforms was lower than Total Coliforms.
