PENENTUAN JUMLAH INSPEKSI OPTIMAL PADA PROSES PENGANTONGAN SEMEN UNTUK MEMINIMASI DOWNTIME DI PT. SEMEN PADANG

Abstract

A maintenance planning is one of the most important factors to smooth the production processes. Because of the damage of packer machine takes place frequently and repeatedly in PT. Semen Padang. The research have done for making the maintenance plan of packer machine ( V-Belt ) by determining the number of optimal inspection that will reduce downtime. The result obtained from the optimal inspection considerations achieved the maintenance time and repair packer machine where an optimal inspection number in V-Belt is one times in inspection  for an interval of one weeks. These works reduce downtime in each packer as much as 0.033912 hours/weeks for V-Belt. From the subtraction of these downtime numbers, it can increase the avaibility of packer machine, i.e as much as 0.31 % for V-Belt.
