Abstract

Composite conductive polymer could potentially be used as a material that has Electrical Conductivity and good tensile strength. The purpose of this study was to optimize the mixing parameters and the proses of forming composite G150 / G5/Epoksi using the taguchi method. In the process of stirring and forming composite G150 / G5/Epoksi the factors and level of mixing parameters selected as follows: Composition (5%, 7.5%, 10%), stirring time (15, 25, 35 seconds), the rotation speed (30, 41, 78 rpm). Two factor and : three level more selected for moulding : heating time (60, 75, 90 minutes) and temperature (1100C, 1300C, 1500C). Optimization results of this research is a response to the Taguchi Electrical Conductivity with specimens of the following conditions: mixing parameters (composition of 5%, stirring time is 35 seconds, rotation speed 30 rpm) with the value of the electrical conductivity of 0.0487 Sm-1, and optimum molding parameters is (the heating time of 90 minutes, the temperature of

1500C) with the value of the electrical conductivity of 0.1388 Sm-1. Tensile strength values obtained base an Taguchi response

179.8 N / mm2 for mixing process and 146.6 N / mm2 for moulding.
