STUDI AWAL PEMANFAATAN SERAT BAMBU DAN KERAMIK SEBAGAI PENGUAT MATERIAL KOMPOSIT DENGAN MATRIK EPOKSI RESIN SEBAGAI MATERIAL TAHAN PELURU DENGAN SUSUNAN SERAT BAMBU DIAGONAL

Abstract

A bulletproof is a patron of that vest protecting wearer of vest of the bullet (projectiles) , the major function of a bulletproof is to hold or captured the speed of bullets (projectiles) fired at high speed to stop. Research aim is to find force composite material in restraining the speed of the bullet as body armor and to analyze influence wicker bamboo diagonally across the material composite bulletproof. Based on research which includes ballistic testing and analysis on bulletproof material with amplifier wicker bamboo diagonal fiber arrangement and ceramics using matrik resin epoxy mold / hardener it can be in extract conclusions and 2m distance, 2,5m and 3m on specimens i , second and third material able to withstand a bullet (projectiles) in shot from an air gun is shown in figure 4.1 , 4.2 , 4.3 , 4.5 , 4.6 , 4.7 and in figure 4.4 , 4.8 and 4.9 happened fracturing tenacious that because emptiness (void) causing trapped air in the material , so the power of material reduced and on the trail of gunfire contained in the material bulletproof wicker bamboo that fiber diagonal thanks to reduce caused by a bullet (projectiles).
