Abstract

Isolation transformers in this kind is oil, which is a cooling system that uses oil as insulating medium inside the transformer can decrease the amount of water that contaminates the oil, the value of breakdown voltage insulation oil is very important in the operation of the transformer, to separate and maintain the temperature state of the inside the transformer. In line operation transformer on G.I.S (Gas Insulated Switchgear) Simpang haru, breakdown voltage test evaluations performed by each sample was different from the methods and standards for testing breakdown voltage obtained test resultssample 1 dielectric strength is32,01 kV, sampel 2 dielectric strength is30,54 kV,  sampel 3 dielectric strength is31,10 kV, For the dielectric losses
