Abstract

Welding has an important role in the engineering and metal repair. Construction with metal today involves many elements, especially the field of welding engineering for welding is one of making connections that technically requires high skills, in order to obtain good quality with less connection. The use of welding techniques in the construction of a very broad include shipbuilding, bridges, steel structures, pressure vessels, transportation, rail, pipeline. The design of the weld and how pengelasaken have to really pay attention to the fit between the properties of the weld with utility construction. To determine the strength of the weld, the authors do tabarik testing in order to get the price of the tensile strength of the weld to the static load. Price tensile strength of the weld must be stronger than the parent metal so that the welding process is carried out can be said to be good and adequate for a construction.
