Abstract

Continuity distribution of electrical energy from the power plant to the consumer can not be guaranteed to be available at any time.This is due to the possibility of disruption of the plant, transmission line and distribution channels. It so happens his alternate electricity blackouts for consumers who need the availability of electrical energy at any time. It needs to be made an alternative power source tools. On the appliance power supply as a backup source of electrical energy is utilized as a power supply of electricity equipment can work on the electricity goes out. In this tool using the rectifier circuit that aims to change the AC voltage into DCvoltage. Then there are a series of 12Vdc and 5Vdc power supply as the source voltage to the microcontroller and the relay.Microcontroller adjust the settings of the relay on the switch receptacle aims if the source of electricity goes out, the supply from the batteries will work as a backup source of electricity energy. Besides these tools use an inverter which aims to convert the DC voltageinto AC voltage which the inverter circuit also use a relay that is connected to the outlet. The test results showed that the power supply backup power source works fine or normal but in charging the battery not working optimally due to voltage for charging the battery issmaller than the voltage at the battery.  Keywords: Accumulator, Microcontroller, Relay, Inverter
