Abstract

The times are accompanied by the development of science and technology (Science and Technology) were rapidly today creates the era of globalization and openness that requires every individual to participate in it, so that human resources must master science and technology and be able to apply in every life.Penggunaan allumunium alloy in the development technology and industry as one of the supporting material is very large role, but in everyday life are many factors that cause this alloy allumunium efficiency decreases. One cause of this is the corrosion of allumunium alloy. As a result of this study is to prove that at the time of testing 504 hours of specimen will experience significant weight reduction compared to the time of testing 168 to 336 hours. It can be seen from the tables and graphs the test results in some amount of the corrosion rate of 0.07625 grams is 168 hours, 336hours 0,085grams, and 504hours 1,115gram
