PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENGONTROLAN PADA PLTMH (PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA MIKROHIDRO) BERBASIS SCADA (SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION)
Abstract
Power Micro-Hydro (MHP) is a plant that uses water flow to generate electric power, general monitoring of electrical quantities and controlling turbine blades in the MHP is still done manually, to do this requires energy, time and can not directly monitor the entire MHP system at any time, hence the need for control and monitoring systems, which control and monitoring will be done remotely by using SCADA systems, SCADA monitoring and control system is a system that can be done remotely. The main part of SCADA is the Master Station (MS), Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) & Communication Systems. Communication in SCADA systems can be built in a few choice either wired or wireless. Based on that idea, the authors make a tool used for monitoring and control of electrical quantities turbine blades on the MHP via internet services. Monitoring and control system using the Arduino as data processing, data communication use the Arduino Ethernet Shield in the form of Internet communication. The use of this control system provides convenience for the user when trying to perform monitoring and control. This control system can monitor and control the MHP using internet services.
