Abstract

Setting the frequency is very vital for a MHP(Micro Hydro Power), because the frequency of the effect on the consumer loads that cause consumer electrical appliances damaged occurred because the rise or decline in frequency at the generator. Frequency control system on MHP(Micro Hydro Power) in general there are two kinds of IE, governor (water discharge system settings) and Electronic Load Controllerc (ELC) systems electronic load settings. MHP(Micro Hydro Power) control systems with deficient ELC which generator is always operated with full load condition, so that energy is wasted using ELC through the system load of the complement in the ELC. Setting the frequency of using the governor to set up the water that goes into the turbine through the water. To perform its function, the sensor on the system that generated the governor measure the frequency generator with a way to convert a frekuesi generator that was being a linear DC voltage against frequency or called sensor conversion F to V frequency control System. using closed loop control system, which is the frequency will be controlled using a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Smart Relays Zelio Logic. The sensor used is the frequency of the n14 lm2917 convert frequency to voltage as input for execution to the actuator/governor through the PLC when the frequency goes down or climb to close and open the floodgates on a turbine generator.
