Abstract

Hardness testing, tensile impact and is one way in determining the mechanical properties of a material. Composite is a material that is extremely strong yet lightweight with good treatment. The purpose of this study to determine the mechanical properties of the composite material between the polymer filler polypropilena with pecan shell powder by mixing parameter with the Taguchi method: Composition (20%, 30%, 40%), time (40, 50.60 seconds), Round (70 , 100, 200 rpm) and temperature (200, 250, 300 Celsius). The result is a specimen with a composition optimization (30%), agitation time (30 seconds), the rotation speed (70 rpm) and temperature (2500C) with a hardness value (93.5), the value of the drop (4.4 Modulus of Elasticity (N / mm2)), and the value impact (0,066 Price impact (HI) (x 106 N/m)
