Abstract

Hydroxyapatite is a natural inorganic elements that come from the bone that can be used to regenerate bone, fix, fill, expand and reconstruct the bone tissue. This is because the hydroxyapatite has a perfect biokompatibilty properties when implanted in the bone. To XRD, a sharp peak at an altitude of 5962 cts at Pos (o2Th) 31,792o owned by the element calcium (Ca) and on Pos (o2Th) 32,925o with a height of 4326 cts summit owned by phosphorus (P).to FTIR OH group - demonstrated by the presence of O-H bonds on the highest peak wave 2221.95cm-1, with 98.20%T intensiti. The cluster group shown by the P-O bond on the crest of a wave 1019.69cm-1, with 25.14%T intensity. SEM-EDXResults element compound phosphate (P) and calcium (Ca) get the average ratio of the value of the ratio of Ca / p 1.74, this value is greater than the ratio Ca / P 1.67 commercial hydroxyapatite.
