Abstract

Pecan shells of which have a tough nature, quite thick and woody material can be used as an alternative. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition either in the process of formation of polymer composites polypropilena with pecan shell powder using the Taguchi method. In the process of mixing and form a polymer composite polypropilena shell powder hazelnut factors and levels of parameters mixing been as follows: Composition (20%, 30%, 40%), stirring time (40, 50, 60 seconds), rotational speed (70, 100, 200 rpm), temperature (2000C, 2500C, 3000C) the results of the optimization of this study is a response to the violence Taguchi with specimens of the following conditions: (a composition of 20%, the lap time of 50 seconds, a rotation speed of 200 rpm, a temperature of 2000C) with a hardness value Hard 93.4 degress, Taguchi pull response to specimens of the following conditions: (a composition of 20%, the lap time of 40 seconds, a rotation speed of 200 rpm, a temperature of 3000C) with a tensile strength of 3.3 N / mm2 and a response to the Impact Taguchi specimens of the following conditions: (a composition of 20%, the lap time of 60 seconds, the rotation speed of 70 rpm, temperature 2000C) with a value of impact 0,089x106 N /m.
