KAJI EKSPERIMENTAL PRESTASI MOTOR BAKAR DIESEL DAIHATSU MENGGUNAKAN ALAT PEMANAS UDARA MASUK KEDALAM SELINDER

Abstract

Untuk meningkatkan kinerja motor diesel salah satu yang diperhatikan adalah pembakaran
dalam ruang bakar motor diesel itu sendiri. Dengan meningkatkan temperatur udara masuk
kedalam ruang bakar akan mempengaruhi tingkat kesempurnaan pembakarannya, sehingga
kinerja motor diesel menjadi lebih meningkat. Hasil penelitian melalui pengujian
menunjukkan bahwa kondisi optimal terjadi pada temperatur 450 C dibandingkan dengan
temperatur udara masuk 400C dan 350C.

Abstract
One of the factors that must be considered in increasing the performance of diesel engine is
the combustion in the combustion chamber its self. By increasing the air temperature into
combustion chamber will influence the perfection level of combustion, so, the performance of
diesel engine will increase. The result of the research shows that the optimum condition of
diesel engine occurs at temperature 450 C was compared with air temperatur at 400C and
350C.
