DESAIN TANGKI PENYIMPANAN BAHAN BAKAR PERTAMAX KAPASITAS 12.500 KL BERDASARKAN STANDAR API 650

Abstract

Tangki dibangun untuk penyimpanan fluida, yang memenuhi persyaratan/ kriteria desain
yang berlaku. Proses perancanaan tangki meliputi pelat dan profil baja tangki penyimpanan
pertamax ini sangat penting, karena menyangkut keamanan penggunaan material.berdasarkan
standar api 650 ada pun jenis atap tangki dan bagian dinding yang terbuat dari pelat baja dan
atap ini bisa berbentuk cone, dome dan flat.
Dalam pembahasan ini, tipe struktur fixed cone roof supported dipilih untuk tangki
silinder, karena digunakan untuk menyimpan minyak mentah. Perancangan tangki ini dilakukan
dengan cara perhitungan manual, dengan kapasitas tangki 12.500KiloLiter. Hasil perhitungan
sesuai dengan peraturan yang disyaratkan menurut American Petrolium Institute Standard 650
Ten Edition.
