PENENTUAN NILAI OPTIMUM RASIO PIPA INPUT DAN OUTPUT POMPA HIDRAM

Abstract

Pompa hidram merupakan teknologi tepat guna dalam bidang pemompaan, pompa hidram
tidak menggunakan BBM atau Listrik melainkan menggunakan tenaga momentum air (water
hammer). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh dari diameter pipa input dan
pipa output terhadap kapasitas air pemompaan. Dengan memvariasikan ukuran pipa input
dan output dapat dilihat perbedaan dari kapasitas air dipompakan oleh pompa hidram. Hasil
pengujian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan terhadap nilai efisiensi pompa 68,96 % jika
menggunakan diameter pipa input 2 inci dan output ½ inci.
Abstract
The pump hydram an effective technology in the field of pumping, pump hydram not use fuel
or electricity it uses energy momentum (water hammer). In this final project aims to
determine the effect of the pipe diameter and pipe the output to the input of water pumping
capacity. By varying the size of the input and output pipes can be the difference of the
capacity of the water pumped by the pump hydram. The results show that the increase in the
value of the pump efficiency 68.96% when using the input pipe diameter 2 inch and output ½
inch.
