Abstract

Weakness flow of information and less coordination in supply chains often cause distortion of information. One of is the expansion of demand variability, or differences in the supply chain is called the bullwhip effect. Deviation of demand information between manufacturers and sellers of these resulted in a deficiency or excess product. For it is necessary to evaluate the supply chain. The study was conducted in the CV. XYZ with the counting bullwhip effect on some types of products for their distribution. The result obtained deviations that occurs variability to the product of bottle packaging ASRI 600 ml, at the Payakumbuh with deviation value 2.11. After forecasting method with Linear Regression with Time (LR), still occurs with the deviation value is 3. This is because high levels of fluctuation in the marketing area. The Company has a policy to meet market demand by using a scale of priorities for the region that experienced the deviation of production capacity and consumer demand, as well as the assessment is based on numerous requests from the region.
Ayu Bidiawati JR

https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JTK/article/view/6489

This paper present estimation cost of radio frequency spectrum for broadcasting services (television and radio) by entering parameter adjustment of local area in Indonesia. It is required because the amount of frequency spectrum cost change will be estimated that assuming the initial cost of frequencies use right for broadcasting services without any significant of parameters adjustment. Furthermore, the recalculations carried out by adding a parameter adjustment (A) with comparing the results of frequency calculation cost based on radio station licenses than the average of parameter adjustment (A) value is 0.05 will be obtained. By using parameter adjustment value showed that the increase and decrease of frequency spectrum cost is reasonable to the operator can fulfill its obligations. The implementation of estimation cost of radio frequency spectrum requires a transitional period, 5-year transition period is given in this study, where the cost of the spectrum gradually will be increased.
Maria Ulfah

https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JTK/article/view/6490

At the beginning of the 20th century, refrigeration was well-established on an industrial scale but researchers still finding the best refrigerant to be used in widely application. This is because due to the people start to invent a system such as air conditioning and refrigeration using suitable refrigerant. People may famous with refrigerant R-134a that has been used all over the world in refrigeration and air conditioning system. But still, they have their own disadvantages that unsuitable to mankind. Now, for Carbon Dioxide (R744) refrigerant will become a trend in industries. A few advantages of Carbon Dioxide help people to choose as a refrigerant. Hence, a published table for Carbon Dioxide (R744) refrigerant had to be created. This table is properties databases that contain all properties and states of Carbon Dioxide. The following set of tables contain all properties will be develop by using Visual Basic version 6 software. A suitable format will be organized to make sure this database is a friendly application and can be used by all kind of researchers in industries.
Henry NasutionMohd Hazim Che Hassan

https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JTK/article/view/6491

The concern of finding an alternative fuel to replace the gasoline is demanding due to the price increment and environmental aspects. Choosing the alternative fuel became a controversial subject since many considerations, methods, cost and continuous improvement are essential. Three well known processes in production of ethanol are; pre-treatment, fermentation and post-treatment. The design of a portable bio-fuels plant will be presented with all the design equations and selected materials. Considering scaling down the plant requires conceptualizing the procedures and integration the units since the plant is meant to fit in a truck or mobile platform. Integration of units raises the need for knowing that some of processes will be merged to a single unit. The overall dimensions are 6 m by 3 m in term of length and width respectively. The plant contains three storage tanks, two fermentation reactors where the integration of units takes place pervaporation and pure ethanol tank. All the dimensions will be provided as each part will be elaborated.
Abdullah Mustafa HamidZulkarnain Abdul LatiffAzhar Abdul AzizMohd Rozi Mohd Perang

2015-07-012015-07-01Flow Analysis of Intake Port in Internal Combustion Engine
https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JTK/article/view/6492

The purpose of this study is to analyse the development of swirl and tumble motion inside internal combustion engine by using computational fluid dynamic (CFD) modelling. Computational fluid dynamic software, FLUENT was used to simulate the swirl and tumble motion inside combustion chamber during intake stroke. Three different intake port design geometries were used to investigate the flow inside the engine cylinders. The original combustion chamber of 1.6L SI engine was used as benchmark and compared with the calculated swirl and tumble ratio in the other two modified intake port design. Analysis works of the intake stroke were performed. Here, the flow analysis using static model illustrates similarity compared to dynamic model. The effect of intake port geometries and intake valve position was analysed. Results were compared between different intake port geometries and intake valve position in term of swirl and tumble ratio. It is discovered that with similar parameters of the engines, intake port geometries with the biggest diameter give the lowest value of swirl and tumble ratio, while by increasing the position of intake valve, value of swirl and tumble ratio increases. The simulation results confirmed that different intake port designs affect the development of swirl and tumble inside internal combustion engine based on calculated swirl and tumble ratio.
Mohd Zahin Mohd ShahrinMohd Farid Muhamad SaidNur Adila Mohamad Shafie
