Abstrak

ABSTRACT
The problems encountered related to the management of Aquaculture in Padang
Panjang City include Human Resources (HR), management, lack of coordination, unstable
fish prices and lack of capital. This can be seen from: low human resources, still lack of
fluctuating fish price capital which tend to detrimental cost, expensive feed price and
technological unfinished. In connection with this, this research aims to determine the
direction of fisheries culture management using SWOT analysis as a tool for managing the
management. The results of research found in the field that is the strategy of Aquaculture
management in Lubuk Tail is in quadrant II which means to support Diversification Strategy
is a strategy that maximizes or prioritizes the element of strength to overcome the threat.
