PERSEPSI STAKEHOLDERS KONSTRUKSI DAERAH TERHADAP PRIVATE PUBLIC PARTNERSHIP

Contruction project in public sector has been faced by funding problem. However, PPP scheme has
been introduced in developed countries, such as UK dan US. In Indonesia, this scheme has been also
applied, especially for central government  project, but not local goverment contruction project. This
study is explorative study which aims to investigate the barriers to impelement PPP scheme. By using
four groups of respondents, we conclude that there are six aspects that considered as important in this
study. they are (i)  Lack of best practices and available trainning, (ii)  Difficulty in preparing project
cost and life-cycle cost estimates, (iii) Labor relation issues, (iv) Poor prospects for economic growth,
(v)  Desire not to try new procurement methods  dan (vi) Negative public perceptions and local public
opposition. This study has an theoritical and pratical contribution in the sense that this study should
continues into descritpive studies or correlative study and contruction stakeholders has  to be taken
into  account  that  PPP  is  optional  public  projet  financing  to  increase  the  public  service  in  local
governament,
