Abstrak

Abstract

The growth of the construction services industry is quite rapid in Indonesia. A good performance is
needeed by a company to keep the business well and established. This study examines the effect of
Market Orientation namely Customer Orientation, Competitor Orientation and Interfunctional
Coordination on performance of middle scale of service Construction Company in Batam city. Data
were collected through a survey where out of 40 questionnaires were obtained 28 questionnaires
were returned and can be used as samples. Multiple regression analysis is used in testing the
hypothesis and obtained the result that the three dimensions of Market Orientation have a positive
and significant impact on Performance of mid-scale construction level service company in batam.
Based on the findings of multiple regression analysis customer orientation has the most significant
influence compared to the other two variables on company performance.
