Change reaction among employee is an important predictor of change success in a
organization. Many studies in this area have been done, however, it is still limited using a
public sector organization, especially in Indonesia. This study aims to investigate the
relationship between perceived organization support (POS) and locus of control (LoC)
with change reaction. Using 59 employee working in one of local government organ at
province government, the multivariate regression analysis is used. the result show that
POS has a positive effect on the change reaction. However, LoC does not have a
significant effect on dependent variabel. This finding has a practical and theoretical
contribution. Practically, the government may be used this finding to increase the change
reaction to be positive by increasing their support to empoloyee during organazation
change.
