Abstract
Resistance to change is an important in change management. This resistance can slow the change in
process and contribute to the change failure. There are several studies conducted by previous
reserchers using the resistance to change. However, there is lack of studies using the bank personell
as respondents. BRI has just been implementing the system of key performance indicators and some
personess indicate of resistance to it. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relationship
between self-efficacy and resistance to change. Specifically, this study also investigate the role of
organizational justice as moderating variabel between self efficacy and resistance to change. The 64
questioners distribute to the sale forces working in BRI branch in Pariaman city. However, final
sampel is 36(58.33%) and ready to analyse. By using the moderated regression analysis, we find
that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and resistance to change. Therefore, the
first hypothesis is rejected. Following the regression result for model 2 dan 3, we can canclude that
there is no role of organizational justice as independent and moderating in determining the
resistance to change in bank.
