Abstract
The aim of this researchare to examine (1) influence of narcissism and personality on
counterproductive work behavior of employees who currently work for BPKAD Padang.
The population of this study is all employees of BPKAD Padang which accounted for 66
respondents whereby the numbers of meaningful sample 47 respondents. Data collection
technique in this research was using questionnaires with a five Likert’s scale. In order to
conduct data analysis, this study performed multiple regressions.The results ofanalysis
indicated that: 1) narcissism significant and positive influences counterproductive work
behavior in BPKAD. 2) Personality was found to have negative and significant effect on
counterproductive work behavior in BPKAD Padang, and 3) narcissism and personality
simultaneously explain counterproductive work behavior approximately 20%.
