ANALISIS PENERAPAN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERTANIAN DAN PERTAMBANGAN GO PUBLIK INDONESIA

Abstrak

In globalization era, the issue of corporate governance (CG) does not only concern
to company but also for shareholders and investors. Agricultural and mining sectors
have an important role in the structure of Indonesian economy but the study on the
application of CG in these sectors is very limited. This research is aimed to analyze the
application of CG in the companies of agricultural and mining sectors.
Method used was descriptive. Sample of this research was the companies of
agricultural and mining sectors listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2016 which
consist of 21 companies from agricultural sector and 27 companies from mining sector.
Data was analyzed by comparing mean value of single CG Indicator (KP, KI, KA, JDK,
KDKI, JKA, JDD, KKAI, KAP) with CG standard.
The research results showed that the companies at agricultural sector only applied 4
indicators of CG, which were KP, KA, JDK and JDD whereas the 5 others (KI, KDKI,
JKA, KKAI and KAP) had not been applied according to CG standard. The companies at
mining sector had applied 7 indicators of CG based on strandard, that were KP, KI, KA,
JDK, JKA, KAP and JDD and only 2 indicators had not been applied.
