Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ethical leadership on deviant behavior in the
workplace which is moderated by the ethical climate in Tanjung Harapan District. The sample in this
study were employees in the Lurah Office in Tanjung Harapan Subdistrict and Tanjung Harapan
District Head Office with a total of 80 employees. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling.
The statistical test instrument used in this research is Hierarchical Regression. The results of the
analysis show that the ethical climate moderates the relationship between ethical leadership and
deviant behavior in the workplace. While ethical leadership has no influence on deviant behavior in
the workplace and on the ethical climate. Whereas the ethical climate has a negative influence on
deviant behavior in the workplace.
