PENGARUH KOMPOSISI DEWAN KOMISARIS TERHADAP CAPITAL STRUCTURE PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the board of commisioner’s composition in capital structure, where
the board uses independent commissioner’s board, size and tenure of commissioner’s board. The
sample in this research amounted to 124 companies listed on The Stock Exchange using multiple
regression analysis (SPSS). The result showed that independent commissioner’s board had a
positive and significant effect on the capital structure. Size and tenure of commissioner’s board
had no effect on capital structure. Result on control variables obtained that profitability and
liquidity had a negative and significant impact on capital structure.
