Abstrak

Heavy equipment takes part on construction project belonging to the very important aspect, that makes knowledge about equipment type to be required most. Especially on the project planning, wherein equipment that choosen must suitable to project needs in order to construction constrain will not happen. Implementation of earthmoving work or land clearing on Poject Pekerjaan Paket 12 Kambang–Inderapura domineted using equipment. Break time that occure to Bukit Punai section describe that less on capability on equipment productivity. The aim of study case are to find out optimalizing management and utilizing equipment on civil work in earthmoving. Also to knowing the compound equipment type that used so all of equipment can reach optimal work. To study time and cost that needed to optimal condition in earthmoving. This research using theory of compound equipment productivity, determining equipment type and number that suitable to site field, and type of soil excavated. Using heavy equipment will be influence to cost and time that required with purpose looking for connection between cost and optimal time on earthmoving construction with normal work hour as 7 hour and also calculation methode by define compound of prductivity heavy equipment. The result of productivity heavy equipment to finish earthmoving work on Pekerjaan Paket 12 Kambang-Inderapura are the best from cost aspec and type of heavy equipment.
